The Short Version

No Dice does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. The app works entirely offline, on both the iOS and Android versions.

Who We Are

No Dice is developed by Seven Southgate ("we", "our", or "us"), an independent app studio based in New Zealand. You can reach us at hello@sevensouthgate.com.

What We Don't Collect

  • Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Crash reports or diagnostic data
  • Any user-generated content
  • Network or internet activity

What Stays on Your Device

No Dice stores only the following, locally on your device:

  • Your selected number of dice (1–6) and dice type preference
  • Your No Dice Pro subscription status, cached for instant display on launch
  • App settings and preferences

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

In-App Purchases

No Dice offers an optional auto-renewable subscription ("No Dice Pro") that unlocks additional dice counts and dice types. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (via StoreKit, on iOS) or Google (via Play Billing, on Android) — we never see or receive your payment details. We only receive confirmation of whether you're entitled to Pro features, used solely to unlock functionality within the app. See Apple's or Google's privacy policy for how they handle payment information.

Third-Party Services

No Dice integrates with no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external services involved are Apple's and Google's own app store billing platforms, used solely to process the optional subscription described above.

Advertising and Tracking

No Dice contains no advertising and performs no tracking of any kind.

  • No advertisements are displayed
  • No advertising identifiers are accessed
  • No cross-app tracking
  • No behavioural profiling
  • No data sold to any third party

Children's Privacy

No Dice is safe for users of all ages. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your Rights (NZ Privacy Act, GDPR & CCPA)

As a New Zealand studio, we handle any personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020. We also honour the equivalent rights of visitors covered by the EU/UK GDPR and California's CCPA.

Because No Dice collects no personal data, most data rights (access, portability, erasure) are automatically satisfied — there is simply nothing to provide, transfer, or delete on our end. To clear your local preferences, uninstall the app.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Given that we collect no data, significant changes are unlikely.
