Seven Southgate ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Dindins - Family Meal Planner mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

Dindins collects the following types of information to provide our meal planning services:

Name: Your display name and names of family members for identification within your family group
User ID: An identifier generated by iCloud for syncing purposes

User Content

Recipes: Recipes you create, import, or save to your collection
Meal Plans: Your weekly meal schedules and meal assignments
Shopping Lists: Generated shopping lists from your meal plans
Family Information: Family member profiles, dietary preferences, and allergies
Voting Data: Meal preferences and votes within your family group

How Your Data is Stored

Your data is stored exclusively in your private iCloud account.

Dindins uses Apple's CloudKit framework to store all your data. This means:

Your recipes, meal plans, and family data are stored in your personal iCloud container
Data syncs securely between your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account
Your data is protected by Apple's industry-leading security measures
We do not have access to your personal data stored in iCloud
No data is stored on our servers

Family sharing works through iCloud sharing features, allowing family members to access shared meal plans while maintaining their own private data.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with any third parties.

No data is sold to advertisers or data brokers
No data is shared with marketing companies
No data is provided to analytics companies
Your family's meal information stays within your family

Advertising and Tracking

Dindins contains no advertising and performs no user tracking.

No advertisements are displayed in the app
No advertising identifiers are collected
No third-party analytics SDKs are used
No behavioral tracking is performed
No cross-app tracking occurs

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

Data Access

All your data is accessible directly through the Dindins app and your iCloud account settings.

Data Export

You can export your recipes and meal plans from within the app at any time. Additionally, all data stored in iCloud can be accessed through Apple's standard data export tools.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

Delete individual items (recipes, meal plans) directly within the app
Delete all app data by removing Dindins data from iCloud settings
Uninstalling the app removes local data; iCloud data can be managed through iCloud settings

Data Portability

Your data belongs to you. You can export your recipes and meal plans in standard formats for use elsewhere.

GDPR Compliance (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data
Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate personal data

We do not sell personal information to third parties. All data remains in your private iCloud storage.

Children's Privacy

Dindins is designed to be family-friendly and is rated 4+ on the App Store. The app may be used by families with children, with parents/guardians managing family accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Family member profiles for children should be created and managed by parents or guardians.

Your data security is ensured through Apple's iCloud infrastructure:

End-to-end encryption for data in transit
Encryption at rest on Apple's servers
Two-factor authentication support through Apple ID
Industry-standard security practices maintained by Apple
